Challenges

Challenges are activities distributed throughout the city. Players can discover and start a challenge in the open world, then complete the required tricks within the surrounding area. Challenges can be completed either solo or cooperatively.

The Signs & Feedback system defines how skate. communicates moment-to-moment information to players. As the UX designer owning this area, I partnered with Game Design to identify all activities and navigation moments that require clear signaling and designed the underlying behaviors, states, and interaction rules to ensure consistency and readability.
